VISITORS ACCIDENTS SPECTRES RITES
Over the last decade, we have been writing short fiction. These pieces are slowly accumulating, and we hope at some point to anthologise them into a collection, provisionally titled Visitors, Accidents, Spectres, Rites.
With 25 at first draft stage, we continue to write this short fiction alongside our film work. Often with an emphasis on the quotidian and the strange, our tendency is to operate in a literary territory that straddles these two ‘places’.
Story titles include ‘Proclivities’, ‘Lucky, Pouring the Drinks’, ‘Familiars’, ‘The Process by Which Organic Substances are Broken Down into Simpler Matter’, ‘Connie’, ‘Love-lies-bleeding’, ‘The Night Birds’, ‘Evening of Furs’, ‘Crancithorme’, ‘We All Must Sweat’, ‘Trudy in Venice’, ‘The Pitch’, ‘A Midlands Lad’, ‘Hair by Derek’ and more.
