At the time one of the most ambitious Turrell actioners to date, Resident Evil took (on and off) two years to make. Doomed to be left unfinished, it marked the first outing of computer SFX in Turrell film history and some notable stunt-work. Featuring wooden performances, gaping plot-holes, and continuity errors, it endures as a bloated and bombastic classic. Only one copy on DVD now remains.
